Want to get in to our minds, see how we think and how we act? Here are some good resources, references and other meanderings that I think are decent reading. What follows are generally good excerpts on some of the things "hackers" and security professionals tend to idealize: fascinating problems, personal freedoms and privacy, free speech, and the inability to be bored (with all these fascinating problems waiting to be solved).

Please let me know if you come across anything that should be added here.

Note: the term "hacker" here is not meant to construe or condone criminal activity of any kind and, instead, is used in its true form: a person with the likes to tinker, often with exceptional skill or desire, with the soul purpose to understand something completely and intimately, often not security (or even computer) related. It is a sad reflection on today's society that I feel the need to expressly state this idea.
